We are seeking a motivated Junior Lawyer or Legal Trainee who wants to contribute to that purpose by joining our growing International Private Client, Residence, Citizenship & Mobility practice.

In this role, you will combine careful legal work with meaningful client contact, supporting local and international clients as they make decisions that shape their lives, families and businesses.

Your Role:

You will help deliver clear, practical and trustworthy legal support through:

• Residency and international mobility matters
• Citizenship and nationality matters
• Private client advisory work
• Legal research and drafting
• Corporate immigration support
• Preparation of legal opinions and client advice
• Liaison with Government departments and regulatory authorities
• Business development and legal publications

We're hiring: Compliance Executive

At Dingli & Dingli, compliance isn't a box-ticking exercise; it's how we deliver on our purpose: protecting our clients and giving everyone we serve genuine peace of mind.

We're looking for a Compliance Executive who sees the bigger picture behind the checklist. Someone who understands that every client due diligence review, every risk assessment, and every monitoring alert is ultimately about keeping people safe.

Your Role

• Working closely with the MLRO, the Compliance and Risk Officer.
• Collecting and managing client due diligence (CDD) and onboarding documentation (KYC).
• Conducting client re-evaluations based on quality and risk standards.
• Serving as AML/CFT liaison: support the teams and contribute to resolving compliance queries as they arise.
• Performing initial and ongoing CRA’s and assisting the MLRO with the compilation of the data for the BRA’s.
• Research, monitor and analyse newly introduced or amended laws and regulations, draft and update internal AML/CFT policies.
• Support implementation and management of company and risk policies.
• Handle reporting and regulatory requirements across markets, including submissions, returns, and filings with relevant authorities
• Assist in delivering AML/CFT training programs.
• Ensure adherence to international AML laws/sanctions and assist with Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) and any other statutory reporting
  

What we're looking for:

• At least two to three years experience working within AML/CFT compliance;
• Be passionate about AML and have experience in the preparation of CRA’s and BRA’s.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Maltese AML/CFT legislation and implementing procedures, international standards, and applicable EU directives.
• Experience in and knowledge of due diligence, AML functions and practices.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Excellent knowledge of English is a must though additional languages shall be considered an asset.
• Proficient in Outlook 365 applications including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meeting deadlines with aptitude to take the lead on key initiatives.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and comfort in making decisions independently but also being able to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

About the Role

Dingli & Dingli Law Firm is looking for bright, ambitious Junior Tax Professionals to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to take over an existing practice area with a clear, supported path to a senior role within the Firm. Whether you are a Qualified Lawyer or Accountant, if you have some experience in tax and the drive to become a specialist in tax, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Technical Advisory: Preparing client advice on all taxation spectrum including personal taxation, Corporate Tax and VAT matters.
• Practice Growth: Taking ownership of the existing tax practice and identifying new opportunities to expand our services.
• Opinions: Contributing to the drafting of formal tax opinions on cross-border structures, corporate setups, relocations and personal taxation.
• Staying Ahead: Diving deep into local and EU tax changes as well as to follow tax developments in other EU member states with a view to keep the firm and our clients prepared.
• Liaison: Keeping an open and professional line of communication with the local tax authorities.
• Internal Briefings: Taking on the role of knowledge collector and disseminator, preparing clear in-house updates to keep our legal teams informed.

Qualifications

• A degree in Law or Accountancy.
• Some experience in a tax-focused role (legal or audit) is essential.
• We are looking for someone who isn't just looking for a job, but a career. You should be keen to learn, dive into technical details, and eventually to lead the practice.
• A strong command of English and the ability to break down complex rules into clear, practical advice.
