Jessica Galea has formed part of Dingli & Dingli since her student years in 2003, when she supported the Firm as a legal trainee. She graduated as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2008 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in January 2009. She completed a Masters Degree at the IMO's International Maritime Law Institute in May 2009, after which she joined the Firm full time.

Jessica works on all shipping and yachting related matters within the Firm, and has headed the Firm’s Yachting Department since 2023. Her work includes support to clients with vessel sale, purchase and registration; marine finance and mortgage registration; setting up of shipping organisations; assistance from a legal perspective with the establishment of yacht leasing structures including finance and operating leases; yacht importation procedures; and advice on various regulatory issues.

In 2024, Jessica was elected as the Secretary of the Super Yacht Industry Network Malta. She has been a committee member of the Malta Chamber of Commerce’s Yachting Services Business Section since 2023, and also forms part of the Malta Maritime Law Association’s Yachting Sub-Committee.
